DR TONI HAY

CHIROPRACTOR

Toni encountered chiropractic care at an early age after suffering from reoccurring headaches. She was intrigued by the process and was impressed by the results. This began her career in allied health.
Appreciating the differences in body types, sizes, ages and conditions has been central to her success. She started as a Remedial Massage Therapist to further explore her love for sport. Through this, Toni developed a deep understanding on soft tissue issues, limitations on movement and how to rehabilitate.
Seeing the connection between soft tissue issues and exercise Toni broadened her skills to include personal training and group fitness exercise. She has had the privilege to work in Australia and England with professional runners, rowers and upcoming tennis players, body builders, new mums, those trying to balance the office and retirees.
Toni re-discovered chiropractic when contemplating the difficult question, how do I want to spend my life? She completed her studies at RMIT Bundoora, graduating with a Bachelor in Health Science and a Bachelor in Applied Science (Chiropractic). Her style of practice is to actively listen, educate patients on the issue, treat the cause and potentially reduce reoccurrence by providing rehabilitation exercises (homework).
Toni still practices as a personal trainer and instructs group fitness classes. She also actively supports the Evonne Goolagong Foundation that provides motivation, leadership and scholarships for indigenous children of Australia.
